Woman In Shoes
This seven-page folded zine is based on the British nursery rhyme There Was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe. I reimagined the story with a restrained and distant tone, using repetition, negative space, and quiet tension to bring out the discomfort that lies beneath the rhyme’s playful surface. Instead of illustrating the text literally, I let the visuals carry a slow-burning sense of unease—like something slipping through the cracks of a children’s tale.
